Getting Here

York International is extremely accessible from Dubai International Airport (DXB), and that too, at a throwaway price! The most optimum way happens to be using the services of Dubai Metro. Board the Red Line service either from Terminal 1 or 3, change over to the Green Line service at BurJuman Station alight at Al Fahidi Station-sometimes referred on older maps as Sharaf DG but currently Al Fahidi is the correct stop for this area-the hotel is literally steps away from Exit 1 or 2 of the station. The entire journey takes about 25 minutes-yes just a few Dirhams!

If you prefer a taxi, the drive from the airport to here is between fifteen and twenty minutes depending on traffic. Just tell him "York Hotel, Bank Street, Bur Dubai." Every cab driver in this city knows where it is. Be aware that traffic on Khalid Bin Al Waleed Road can be very heavy during evening rush hour (6:00 PM to 9:00 PM), so the metro is often faster during these times.
