Hotel Hints
This hotel needs a particular state of mind. If you are one of those who found it cheap over the internet and did not bother reading any reviews about the club, then prepare to be shocked. The noise is real. Try getting a room as high up as possible and on the opposite side from where the club is located because anyway, bass travels through structure; unless you're planning on being at all in "the" Club (ear)plugs(. )must(! )be worn if sleeping before 3:00 AM.
There is tight security at the entrance in the evenings. You may be asked to present your key card as you access the elevators, to weed out non-guests who may be trying to beat the club entry fees. Also, brace yourself for the smell of cigarette smoke; it is pervasive in the lobby and many "non-smoking" floors due to the clientele.
And finally, have a meal outside the hotel. Go back into the lanes of Meena Bazaar and find those real cafeterias serving Shawarma and Karak tea; yes, also biryani at throwaway prices. Places like Al Ustad Special Kebab-legendary Iranian kebab house-within walking distance offer culinary experiences far superior to mall food courts.
